January is National Hot Tea Month!

Brrrrr . . . the cold weather is upon us and there is nothing like holding and sipping a steaming cup of tea to warm and calm you. As I write this I am enjoying the unique flavor of Keemun Hoa Ya A black tea from China. This tea is complex and subtle. It has an excellent full bodied winey character with oaky notes. Celebrate with your favorite tea.

Here are some ways to celebrate with tea:

Drink it for it’s many health benefits. Research shows that tea can reduce blood pressure in hypertensive individuals, increase metabolism, reduce the risk of certain types of cancers, and produce benefits such as mental clarity and better attention.
