I always recommend to my guests that they use strainers or DIY teabags to steep their loose-leaf tea. This article just reinforced for me the healthier option of making your own fresh teabag using 100% natural unbleached and biodegradable teabags. While the article points out that the “plastic” you are consuming isn’t harmful, my thoughts are that anything foreign shouldn’t be put in my body.
